I am thinking about taking the brass thread cap of my friends no longer working pos eradicator and inserting it into my old talon ghost. I figure I will take my dad's roto zip and grind out the barrel in order for the thing to fit? Think it would work?

It might. It should anyway. I don't know what a roto zip is, but you might be able to weld it on there if you're careful, but I wouldn't recommend it, as it might distort the bore some.

More than likely it'll work. How well really depends on the precision of your craftsmanship. :)

My craftmanship is pretty bad, but I think i will be able to pull it off, once i find the pieces to my talon again.

Just buy a new Talon :) . Yeah, but make sure that you align the barrel adapter to the bolt, otherwise you will end up with alot of chopped paint. The ball would not feed correctly EVERY time. Also, do some measurements to make sure that 1) Your bolt doesn't get jammed in the barrel and 2) Make sure the feeding and/or detent isn't affected by your mod.
Good Luck.

You may get it on, but if it's crooked:|. Go ahead and try, if it doesn't work, burn it.:D

One guy had the idea of using heat gun to soften the Talon barrel, and then slip the other barrel in. I don't know if that would work, though. :|

I dont think that would work because if you heated up the Talon barrel and stuck the new barrel in it would most likely have a step that would break paint.
