Hi, I am planning on buying a custom prodcuts 1 piece barrel but i am confused about the difference between the CP1 and the classic style. Are they the same or different or what cause one the reviews the picture is different then what the barrel looks like at shootpaint.com. If you guys could please help me out i would be much appreciated.

the cp 1-piece and classic is the same thing essentially...just the looks.

even the 2-pieces are essentially the same...only they're...2-piece...

The advantage to the 2 piece is that you can buy more backs if you need.

well i'm already deciding on getting the one piece cause of price but when everyone says get the cp1 is that the classic or the regular. Classic and regular are just 2 different styles. They have difference besides looks.

No the classic is the style that all CP 1 pieces used to come in. Then sometime in 2003 (forgot when) they made a new style but they still offer both styles. It's just another reason why the CP 1 piece is such a great barrel.

All great sites but shootpaint by far the biggest selection and also the cheapest prices when it comes to CP barrels. However I'm not sure if they carry Ceramics. I would just buy 2 CP's instead of a CP and Ceramic.

14 inch may be better, to stick out of bush and stuff, but the 12inch isn't much different, your choice longer=quiter and less efficient. shorter is the other way around

for me, shorter the better in all situations except airball...

even in woods, i generally dont hide behind bushes, as i dont like spray coming at me when i can avoid it...

Hi guys, thanks for all your help so far. I have one more question though. I finally got my barrel and tried it out. It's Awsome!!! but i'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this or not but when i screw it in like it doesn't seem to go in all of the way like there is still a bit that sticks out. Is it supposed to look like this?

DON'T BUY FROM SHOOTPAINT! I ordered a CP 2 piece from them, paid and never heard back from them. It's beena month and I'm getting pissed.

What kind of gun are and thread type did you order? Obvious that they should match, but it's never good to assume.

And if there's an orig on the barrel, take it off.

it should still fit with an o-ring, just ur gonna have to truly jam it in there...

hey guys, yeah its like this the screw part goes in but then there's another part to it that is not screw in its just like a piece of the barrel that would probably hold the o ring it comes with. The gun i have is a tippmann 98 custom and i ordered the 98 thread, i mean it works fine i just didn't know if its supposed to go all the way in and cover the oring

look down the barrel(w/out air and paint of course ;) ) and see if the barrel makes full contact with the edge of the breach. if so, u have nothign to worry about. if not, u got screwed.
