i personally would go with the timmi, ACE, 3-way adjustable trigger, more efficient, bob long support, and looks better IMO. timmis kick butt!! i just am not too found of the matrix

i would go with a timi(that's what i got)

i did think about getting a matrix, it got good reviews and all but eats up air worse than a cocker with a leak in the pneumatics.

like 800 shots per 68ci 4500psi fill(full)if you are not familiar with this that's horrible. it's just not worth it. i get like 400 shots on my 45ci 4500psi tank when it's less than half full

they are both in the same price range but i would keep my timi

but it is all preference on the other hand

why do you want the matrix?? what interests you about it??
i would like to know.

The Intimidator and the Matrix are both Twitch's favorite guns.. He should have a fun time here :)

I wont say anything, cause it would biased towards the matrix since its one of my two favorite guns.

But, for starters..this is why he might be interested in the matrix:

- Fastest marker on the market (21.7bps)
- Statistically the most accurate marker on the market
- Runs at very low pressure .. Smoothest marker I've ever shot .. No kick.. helps you to shoot more accurately
- Interchangeable forebreeches .. Many matrix owners are going to put a Flatline w/ a Tippman breech when it is released .. Also you can have a side feed breech (feature kinda like the emag) so you can look down the barrel for better aiming when using a warp feed
- Bolt pressure is about 80psi. Will not chop a ball.. it will bounce right off of it so chopping is almost vertually impossible
- 1250 shots off of a 68ci/4500psi nitro tank (w/ the bolt kick)
- Easy to maintain
- Simple design (well..the spool valve is VERY complex.. but taking apart the gun takes 30 seconds and is very simple)

And those were just a few ;)

Its a very good marker, and I dont know why ppl just hate it... Like Venom and Richy. Actually, richy wants one now because even tho the looks killed him, he tried one and liked it.

Why do ppl just care about the looks so much! But its a very nice marker.. and its my second favorite in the world.. 1st is Sonic Bushmaster :)

where is there statistics on accuracy? that sounds interesting, i would like to know where they have this? and how could they make the test accurate unless the guns were set up with all of the same parts (tanks, regs, barrels, paint)??

I could get the information for you..but im too lazy. It says that (Statistically the most accurate marker on the market) on www.diablodirect.com. I'm sure that they are mostly talking about the low pressure/no kick.. so you can fire the marker more accrurately sense it doens't move as much on your shoulder.

They are also probably talking about the Matrix's excellant flat trajectory.

interesting how timmy owners are checking out the matrix threads...maybe they are regreting getting a timmy? nah jp, um i would say something, but im more biased towards the matrix.... FYI,the new bolt kit for the matrix lets you get over a thousand shots off a 88ci 4500 psi tnk. besides, you always have money after you get your gun saving up so in the long run of owership, id take matrix for the upgrades

BTW, its great (far above average) stock with only a trinity and stock barrel

I am honestly thinking about getting the Matrix as a back up to my timmy. I won't give up the timmy for anything right now. I like it to much. I am looking at either another timmy, a matrix, the new Bob Long marker, or building a cocker. Cocker and timmy are in the lead right now. The Matrix is a close third after test shooting one last weekend.

You'd be surprised.. The only thing the Matrix will give you that you dont want is replacing your timmi as primary marker ;)

Nah Its really nice.. And a great backup... It is reliable, if you dont mind little leaks that go away in a few shots. (Acutally, most of the "little leaks" are just the soleinoid dumping out the extra/unused gas. People think this is a leak and then they ask about it on the forums.. then when someone says it is normal they freak out and think that the matrix leaks all the time and its normal!! grr.. hate that. But it is very reliable if you lube it every month or so.. and you will get the most out of it if you lube it after every use..

personally, if i had the choice, i'd go for the matrix. when i get a job, hopefully soon(i've been saying that for 2 years) i'm either gunna build a cocker from the ground up, or muy a matrix, probly just go for the matrix.
one of my friends was using one yesterday, he was shooting at insane rates of fire w/ ease, the gun was staying in the exact same place, almost no movement at all. the cool thing is, only one moving part, so there's less things to break on you. everybody who used his gun came off the field w/ for sale signs on their guns. last night 5 people IMed me asking for the cheapest place they can get a matrix. i've never seen so many people go ga-ga over a gun after using it for one game.

if i do get a matrix, i'll probly keep my bushy, just 'cuz i'm so used to it and it fits me perfectly.
