What can i get to keep up

A friend of mine recently (2 hours ago) bought an Angel LCD (an older 1 without the 90degree) and it was sick.

Me being a teenager who want's to be the best want to keep up with him and my other friend with an impulse.

Question is can i keep up with them. I'm getting a BKO as soon as my shop gives me a price and it will probably be a true '04 but i'm not sure yet. should i get a chaos chip or what???

You will be find with a BKO. A Choas Chip will make it rip. There are sooo many upgrades for it tho. Chaos Board, OTB Magnetic Trigger...will really rock. Stock tho, you shouldn't underestimate it...it will rip as well.

Chaos Board, fast loader, sp mod (to be safe when firing fast), and a new frame will make it eaiser to shoot faster

I say worry about chopping when yoiu actually chop. Get a fast hopper...and if you still chop then worry about it.

Guys, guys, guys, you are forgetting about I'll the efficiency upgrades like valves, LPR's, and HPR's which should be upgraded first... Or does he just want speed cause I'm still kinda confused :eyes: :confused:.

If you are playing in a tourny i wouldn't worry about effiency. "ALL DAY AIR" is prolly available. Plus B2k's are not that bad out of the box; when comes to effiency.

Well, BKO's are not that bad in effiency. Even if you play out there in renegade fields.
Also, you wouldn't be far behind with a stock BKO. Alot of it is in the player.

I agree 100%, gomster.

Effiency was my first upgrades...becuase i used to do alot of renegades and only filled my tank at a shop. Now i do alot of pro firlds and they include all day air.

Out of topic...Gomster just can't wait for his BKO...seems to me like posting is the only thing lets his excitement vent.

ya i plan for this to be my tourny gun, i have a tricked 98c as my "efficancy" gun cause i have 4 or 5 CO2 tanks from people who sold um to me for dirt cheep. Both of the guys are on my team, but having the best equipment makes ya feel good l:D

thanks for the info, i'll be running an Egg, and probly shoot in 3 sec burst to reduce breaks and a chaos board sound nice, how much do they run for??

You made mention that you want to keep up with your friends Imp and Angel LCD, a better comparision to those is a b2k not a bko. The bko you will be physically limited to 18-19bps, which by all means should be good enough for anyone. If you want to go above that though b2k is the way to rock it. Trust me being poor stinks, I was there and got my BKO since that is what i could afford at the time (damn college loans and Credit Cards), you wont be disappointed either way.

BKO's are good, but if you want more speed out of the box, then listen to the other kids and go for the B2K4.

I mean think about ..who contonously shoot 20+ bps...maybe if you are a back man. BKO is the way to go if you low on cash...otherwise B2k...either way you will be fine.


Now about this rumor...

its been rumored for a couple months now, back when they first announced they would have a new marker (back in october-november i think). Since then there hasnt been a word on it or if its really going to happen.

BKO= Fast
B2K3/B2K4= Faster

I think the B2K3 is faster the Imps (unless they have WAS board), and the old angels. I have owned an imp and have shot angels, my B2K3 is the fastest gun i have ever shot. I cant compare it to a new shocker or a speed because i havnt shot eather of them, but i assume they are faster, but not by to much.

Look for a B2K3 on ebay, you can get one for not much more than a new BKO.

If you are strapped on cash by all means get the BKO.

Eather way u will be as happy as a clam.

I believe it was mentioned that there would be some new things out for the bko that would help it perform like a b2k. After that people assumed they must be comming out with a 4-way solenoid conversion kit.

getting a techpro board or a chaos removes the advantage that the WAS board has, and is cheaper then a WAS as well :)
