Nitro has better gas consistency flowing into the gun and you can get more shots off with nitro with the same volume tank than u can co2. But co2, of course, is a hell of a lot cheaper.

nitro doesnt freeze up the gun, keeps the velocity stable and it is just air.co2 is liquid,doesnt keep the velocity stable

Nah, less shots. If you filled a 68ci tank with CO2, you'd have to refill every time you bought a new paintball gun :) But it's got more consistent velocities, and it's better for your gun. o-rings too :)
