Wow, that's a nice 'Cocker... :) What're you trading? Whole gun including tank or...? Anyways, I say don't go for it. I believe that there are two reasons why people want to trade you guns:
1. They're... stupid and think your gun is better (I don't believe so in this case, because if this guy's got a bunch of "goodies" on his 'Cocker, I think he knows what he's doing...)
2. They want something better, and hope that you'll give into "eye candy" ;)
I have shot some 'Cockers, in fact, many, but I like the ROF of the Bushmaster. Over the custom chronograph at Weekend Warriors, I used a guy's Black Magic, and could not get over 6BPS. Just in my opinion, that chronograph is inaccurate with ROF... :)

99 bodies are heavy as _____
they dont have the fake pump arm slot on the left side like the 2k+ bodies have. also are you ready to pay for annodizing, if you keep the raw body its prolly gonna tarnish or something.
i would hold off for a 2k+

Well, in the case that you ever enter a tourney or event that allows different modes of fire, you're open to use full auto or turbo mode with the Bushmaster. Offers a very consistent rate of fire, thus the chance of chopping is very little. With the 'Cocker, if you want to fire fast, sometimes you just gotta somewhat "fan" it, and that can lead to shortstroking. There are those who say 'Cockers can shoot so fast and stuff like that, but of all the 'Cockers that I've shot, I have yet to believe that any mechanical 'Cocker trigger pull can beat the pull of an electro. Electronic triggers just need to push a microswitch. 'Cockers and most mechanical guns that I know if require of a force against another object, which may result in tilting, or "opening," and that makes the trigger pull heavier. With a short electronic trigger pull, just lightly tap the trigger and it will usually let off a ball or so... I've seen your Bushmaster, and it's nice! I say keep it unless you get another electronic gun that you like better, rather than a mechanical gun... Just my opinion...

One of the reasons people SWITCH from cockers to bushys..is they had a rough time w/ their cocker and they want some reliablility...
do you really want to lose that security that your marker will always work great w/o hardly any maintainance and lots of abuse?
Keep the bushy...

I use to have a cocker and it is a pain in the ***. It always has problems. My bushy shoots just as nice as my cocker and when I get my 10" boomstick it will also shoot as far

well im not sure i can afford to keep the bushy anymore, i played with it today and i went through paint so incredibly fast its not even funny. i went through 4 speed pods and my Ric2k hopper in about a half hour, i think i would probably go slower on the paint with a cocker . . .

Not really u just gotta learn to conserve some paint. Trading a nice *** bushy for a 99 just cuz u wanna save 15$ on paint?

You can always set your dip switches so that you don't run through so much paint... Using a Black Magic 'Cocker, I went through 3/4 of my hopper in minutes, at the airball field during the Bonebrake clinic thing. Not only that, but you can't control your rate of fire. With electronics, even if you're pulling the trigger 10 times a second, if you set the ROF lower, only that many balls will come out, I think...

How fast are you shooting now? I would imagine around 10-12 bps.. Just set your bps to 8.. that should be fast enough and you will conserve paint fairly easy.
Remember, only shoot when you see someone ;)

man, there should be a 3rd option! i agree wit richy. id hold off for a 2k1 and put freeflow internals in it! i am going back to cocker, i love the way they shoot and i dont need 12 bps if i hit someone with the 1st shot! i am partial to cockers, jmo though. cockers are awesome but so are bushy!

why do you want to switch, if you were using a cocker in a very intense game you would use just the same amount of balls as the bushy, and if you watch tournments (or if you play in them) you don't see people very often laying on the trigger, weather it be angels, cockers, bushys, or what ever. those people know to conserve paint and they still got the guns that shoot fast. That cocker is not that great of a deal, its only a 99 body and it is infested with A.N.S parts which don't seem to have the greatest reputation.
And remember, its not the gun that is accurate, it's the person, guns can only be precise, and if you have a good paint to barrel match they should all have precision with in the size of a human, the most shot at target.
