View Full Version : Safe to play w/ out gauge?

Sorry about this topic, but my new gauge hasnt come in yet. The gauge that came with my impy is broken. I am worried about getting my gun over pressureized. If my velcoity is below 300fps, my pressure cant be too high, correct?

Yes it can, your velocity isn't necessarily controlled by the input psi. It is also controlled by the dwell. So if you have a short dwell it would take over 180psi to hit 300 and if you have a long dwell it would take less pressure.

well, the safety valve will go off if the pressure is to high, and my impy is stright from the factory so the dwell should be set.
