Hard decision.....

I'm posting this for my brother who is having a tough decision on what to get. He's selling his Impulse and wants to purchase either an 03 Shocker or Dye Matrix (not the DM4). He plays front, so he was leaning toward the Shocker because of it's lightness and small profile. The Dye Matrix is also appealing due to it's very high quality, easy maintenance, and speed. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks.

Both would be great, but I would lean towards the shocker for its lightness. Make sure he solves his FSDO.

The matrix would work too, but would have a bigger profile.

Either would be good, the shocker though has the lightness and smallness to it, and they have fixed the efficiency problem. Plus with a new bolt you can get a ton more shots out of it.
