semi or pump

I'M NEW TO PAINTBALL. I WAS WONDERING WHAT TYPE OF MARKER IS BEST FOR A NEWBIE,PUMP OR SEMI? I WAS THINKING A M-98 TIPPMAN BUT I LIKE THE CHALLENGE OF A PUMP. IS THE PUMP BEING PHASED OUT. IS THERE ACTUALLY A DEMAND FOR NEW PLAYERS FOR PUMPS OR ARE THE OLD HANGERON KEEPING THE PUMP ALIVE?

As far as whether a pump or a semi is better for newbies.. it's really the players choice. As far as whether or not pumps are just for the old players isnt tru... pump players and semi players are two totally seperate breeds. Like me i'm 15 and i play pump, mainly because i like the skills involved, and the fun i have. I mean but i have plenty of friends who would swear that semis the only way to play. So it really is just whatever you feel is right for you.

I say go with a semi to start cuz as a newb you need that firepower to stay alive and learn then go to a pump if you want the challenge. By that time you will be experienced. It's all in preference tho
