Entry level gun

I want to know what gun would be an affordable, upgradeable gun that could be used in entry level tourneys. I am open to electro and mech. Also what could be the minimum bps for tourney level play? Thanks to anyone that responds.

I'd think 10 bps is a number I'd like to be at if I was heading into a tourney for my first time, higher for a backman.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and assume that you will fire at least one shot a round. That would make the minimum about 0.00333333333333333333333333333333333 bps. I've seen people use all range of guns in beginner's tournies, so don't worry about not keeping up. Instead find something you are comfortable with and like using.
