My girlfriend has a T.E.S. and i can't get it to auto mode.....i tried everything and nothing works. I can however go from 4 to 20 BPS with the menu in "semi" mode.....did Dragun change the board to end some of the confusion about the whole "auto" mode not being fully auto......????? Help. Thanks

DON'T USE AUTO!!! Auto mode is the biggest screwup in paintball. All it does is blend paint unless you have a high end ehopper, and it just keeps your ROF slow whenever you play tournaments because you're not used to semi. If you have a marker with an auto mode on it, the best thing you can ever do for yourself is to find a diagram of the circuit board and remove the little chip that makes your board a full function. You'll thank yourself after you build up your ROF the right way- by moving your fingers like every other tourney player has learned to do.

I understand the T.E.S. never came with a full auto(machine gun firing action) but there is the slightly more recative trigger "auto mode" that is still semi auto but my girlfriends marker won't go into that mode. If i turn it on and remove the saftey......when i press button a, its supposed to go into an "auto" menu, it does not. the only mode i can find is "semi" and in that mode i can change from 4-20 BPS, The marker shoots pretty fast......but from the guys at my local pro shop they say there should be a "auto" mode that will make it shoot way faster(semi auto just more reactive).
any other input would be great thanks......

The "auto" mode on the TES does absolutely nothing (that i can tell, anyway- the switch is still a 150g pull no matter what setting the frame is on) so I wouldn't worry about it not being in the settings. Dragun just uses the same board they use on their full functions. The stock board (no matter what setting) is still capped at 20bps, so the easiest way to shoot faster is to install The One on the TES and it'll go up to 30 bps.

Sorry if I came off as a bit hostile in that last post- i'm just getting sick of all those little kids who rate markers on whether or not they have full auto on 'em.

what are you talking about?... the auto mode makes it a lil more reactive like bounce on a timmy... the one is not needed, it's nice but not needed... to make the TES shoot faster/easier, all you have to do is install a 50g IS switch (or do a stock switch mod) and install a zenitram trigger.... very walkeable and easy to fire (only 4 pennies balanced will set it off)... i doubt anyone on these boards can get over 20bps for any length of time anyway

I don't see how that could be. I don't know too much about timmys and their modes (workin on it:D ) but its still one shot for one pull. Oh, and the One Kit is capped at 20 bps.

Well after trying it out a bit the "auto" mode does make the marker shoot faster......i can definetly walk the trigger faster and smoother with the marker in "auto". Thanks for everyones input. It was an easy fix. The TES rocks. Thanks again.

Ok, i stand corrected- the "auto" mode on the TES rocks... i'd never really tried it on mine above the default 10bps before until now and ... damn... it rocks. Why don't they just set that sensitivity as the normal mode and do away with the 'auto' setting all together?
