I'd like to add a gauge to my phantom VSC since I lose count of how many shots I've fired too often. It's very disheartening when you run up behind someone, pull the trigger, and have your gun vomit out a ball like a dying cat. I'm not sure anyone has done this before.
Problem one:
Where do I put it? I was planning on removing the stock class adapter and drilling and tapping the side of the vertical ASA, then putting the adapter back on. Can you think of a better location? Perhaps it would be better to splice a T joint into the hardline?
Problem 2:
The gauge is tricky. I was thinking of cannabalizing my old black dragun for the guage but I'd prefer a new one. If anyone knows a 1" gauge that can has a 0-900 or 1000 psi range let me know. The process temperature of the coldest gauges I've found is -40F, which is 68 degrees warmer than CO2. I think I'll just put a gauge guard on to solve that problem.
Problem 3:
Will this be detrimental to air efficiency? I am using 12g's. I think this can only be discovered by trying it out.
