Paintball on TV and ESPN

Anybody remember when paintball was considered an extreme sport and games were aired on ESPN? Well it is time to get it back on TV. Everyone go to http://www.angelfire.com/tv/missionESPN/ and do everything you can do to get ESPN to put paintball on the air again.

Also post any thoughts you have on having paintball be in the X-games and in other major sporting events such as the Olympics.

yeah mabay i can finally make a use out of a sports channel(By the way im not a big sports guy! I like video games, rpg's and all that nerdy stuff, I treat sports like the antichrist except for bleesed paint ball and karate)

I think these petitions are useless. ESPN can broadcast whatever they want and if they choose not to broadcast paintball, there is nothing one can do about it.
It's just like Jim Murray's decision to change Paintball City to Paintball Dojo. People are whining about the new name but it's his web site and he can do whatever he wants to with it.

Yeah, I don't really watch too many sports but if people will sit on their butt watching cars going in circles for 4 or 5 hours, I am sure that they would like paintball too. The viewer ship was low when ESPN had paintball because it was a new sport and not many people really knew about it. I would watch it constantly if they had it on.

Personally i think ESPN cant avoid us forever, they might just give in and show a couple of tourneys to see what the ratings are. so i think that its a good effort to try to get ESPN to show some paintball stuff.

If ESPN did something on paintball I think that they would probably turn it in t something like the XFL, with about 20 teams and each team and player would have specific stats.

yeah that would be great if that happened....Hopefully they will see how paintball has evovled in to a great adrenaline rush sport that is great to watch.....

I don't know when Splatterfactor will air, but if you're interested you should go to their Web site and email the producers, publicist and directors ... I did some weeks ago, still haven't gotten a response, but i think if enough people do that they'll definitely get the message that there's a lot of interest being generated in their program.
