geez...why does heat ruin my fun

i live in south louisiana and during the summer it gets so hot i can't play paintball until like december, and it starts getting to hot in march, i guess heat is here just to piss me off, oh well its getting close to december and i'll be able to play once again, BMWHAHAHA!!!

I just moved up here to VA. I use to live in Shreveport, LA. It got 110 degrees and i almost went into a heat stroke. I never stopped playing in LA. Ever since I moved up here I've been playing every weekend. It's ccccccoooooooooooollllldddddd up here.

Shreveport is now freezing, well, its ok weather compared to other states. I SEE B2 stealth bombers fly over our house. I usually dont go to off limits anymore, unless its a tourny or big game. Hey magic, are there any other places i can BUY gear other than off limits?

Just suck it up and play j/k. Wear t-shirts and stuff. I know how hot it gets down there. I was in New Orleans in late July for the National Youth Gathering and it was like 98-105 everyday. It sucked especially since I am from the land of the 6 month winter.

lol, lucky, but another reason i don't play is cuz my local field is closed during the summer cuz its to hot...=\, i want to move to PA, seems to be alot of fields there and nice and cool, well i think it is, lol, =P

it gets just as hot if not hotter down here. just tuff it out and play. where a tshirt and some shorts and some kneeshin guards.

wow, you dont have many fields there? I live in salem, OR, population 120,000, and there is an indoor field and an outdoor field...I can drive for 15 minutes and get to a huge paintball place...or I can drive up to portland where there are tons of shops and fileds.....

Geeez, maybe I should complain it is hot too. Yes it gets hot. Try playing in southern Florida. Our field is open year round and is busy. Drinks lots of water/gatorade/allsport between games. Find shade to cool down between games. I usually forget how hot it is because my mind is on paintball. I never seen anyone wear shorts. Moslty camo BDU's or cargo pants and t-shirts or Jerseys. Some first timers might show up dressed heavy thinking it hurts more than it really does when marked.

I can say I never had a problem with my CO2/marker getting cold.

I do miss the cooler/cold temps from when I lived in NY.

the thing is.... down here the humidity is what gets you, the heat isn't so bad but its so humid which makes it feel alot hotter than it really is. i wish my field is open, maybe i'll call them today

i played in 105 degree weather and it was fine. just drink lots of water. and i was wearing some old BDUs.
