how do i figure out if i need a new one, ive never replaced or taken off my valve.

if theres gas leaking down your barrel thats how u know most of the time, and u might not have to replace the valve just the cup seal

the cup seal look unharmed, I redid the valve seal and its still leaking. Now my gauge is not reading pressures at all though.

yea the stock gauge is cheap i replaced mine with dye gauge dragun made a good gun but made all the replacable parts cheap to keep the price under $300

I believe the TES has an adjustable sear. If it does the screw on the left side of the frame is the locking screw and the screw in the back of the frame is adjustment screw. Screwing it in makes it lowers and out highers it.

Screw screw in = lower sear
Screw screw out = higer sear

vice-versa in = lower and out = higher

If it were me having all the problems I would take it to an airsmith....but I'm not as brave with taking mine apart and putting it all back together.....I'm always afraid it won't work right. My TES did the same thing yours is doing and it was the cup seal and a valve, however I'm not sure which one. If all else fails take it to a smithy. :) The sear is adjustable I'm just not sure how to adjust it. :banghead:

I called the manufacturers about the sear, wether or not I would ever have the need to adjust it. They said no.
