hey, go tmy impy working today, go tit used, ,and it leaekd, fixed that, but, is there supposed to be a white plug lik ehtingy obn the soliniod, i dont have one, it was venting air from tehat hole when i pyulled the trigger, so we fixed hat wiht a q tip, it wokrs, just paint is not even boming out of the barrel, psi is at 180:D ssee, i do know a littl e about what im doing

1- make sure your bolt in with the big hole pointing dowm

2- Are you sure your bolt pin is in the right place-- when you gas up the gun, you should not be able to put the bolt pin forward-- try it, if you can , pull the pin and re-seat it.

What are you running, c02 or HPA (tell us what) _________
(If it is c02, does it have a anti-syphon device)

Have you cleaned and lubed the (bolt, hammer assembly, reg valve?) (tell us what) _________

What kind of paint/barrel are you using (tell us what) _________
(Is it bore matched? Is it Fresh?)

After you've re-charged your tank, and your marker has been relubed and put back together correctly

Do you have a chrono? I know you've set the input to 180 psi, however, you'll need to check your velocity (f.p.s.) by making a adjustment to your dwell pot.

:D al rested up, ill try not to make any spelling errors, im running co2, wiht an intishypon nd a green smart parts on off valve, it was leaking form the soliniod, i some how fixed that, i think by putting on the cap correctly, hhe had it on upside down. i just cleaned my whole gun, andd most of the vert reg, i too it off the gun, but cant figure out how to get the stuff not gettable outabel from the ottom outn i lubed up everytbhing elseno, i dont have a chrono, i would love to have one, but i dont have that money to spend, im only twelve, and, no i not a spoiled brat, i am the only one, except for a barrel and a remote line( i later tarshed it, uncomfortable) i pay for everything i buy for p-ball, and i only get paid $6 an acre fro mowingthnx for helping, ill pray that it works, and, is there supposed to bre a smal white thingy on the soliniod, in SP pics there is, but not on my gun, air vented ouyt when i pulled the trigger, and the bolt didnt move, i plugged thi shole wiht a q-tip, and now the bolt does mve

ok, sorry for the inconvience, forget about the barrel and remote line, those are the only things i didnt pay for in pball, im not like a spoiled brat, i now hate remotes, they are to (insert bad word here) uncomfortable
is there supposed to be a small white plug on the visible plug on the solinoid, in the soliniod cleanig pics on SP's website, there is. air was venting out of this hole when i pulled the trigger, i cut the cotton off the q-tip, and plugged the hhole wiht that, should i call SP, i might need a new plug, i dunno

i have a vert reg, i took of teh cap, and greased and cleaned teh stuff in there, but i cant figure how to get the rest of teh stuff our

No it doesn't really matter if you are mispelling a few words in your post. WE ALL DO. The problem is there are so many mispelled words that it is tough to understand what you are saying.

There is supposed to be a little white cap on the mac valve. I am not sure if it has to be there for sure or not.

How do you know that there is air venting out of there when you fire?
What is your dwell set at? When you look at it think of it as a clock and tell us what time it is set at. etc...1 oclock, 11 oclock?

When you fire your Impulse watch the bolt pin and make sure that it is going forward all the way. Let us know what you find out.

First, I think your solonoid is realy screwed up. My feeling is that you realy have to get the soloniod working right FIRST before we worry about any other things that may be wrong. I doubt SP will send you a solonoid under "warrenty" but I would be willing to bet that they would fix it under warrenty for you. So unless you have a way of getting ahold of a new solonoid, I would recomend you tank out any modification you have made, and send it in to Smart Parts.

I belive what you are discribing is the manuel fire boutton on the solonoid. (normaly a tiny white plastic tit that sticks up)

While I could sell you a new solonoid, I realy think you would be wasting your money as I have no doubet that SP will replace it for free- or for a very small "labor" change.

as i got it used, i talked wiht them, and they say, no card, no warrenty, i have no mods, and no warrenty, how much is a new sol;inod FOM, i might need one, yeah, im missing the white"tit" i stuck a q-tip in there, and it seems to work, but slowly leaks out, ayou cant even here it leaking, it just ddoes, like i said, FOM, how much would you charge for a new soilinood

i felt it come out, when i had it dissaembled, but attached and al, the dwell is at 1-2 oclock, at 180 psi,

oh, and the bolt goes all the way forward, except, about 3/4 of a cm from the end of the slot, not much, is it supposed to hit the other end, or have a little bit of roojm

oh, and the maxfloon mine seems to have a slower recharge than my old maxflo, it drops about 20 psi, adn it takes about .6 of a second or so to recharge, ,it might seem little, but, on myold setup, it was a lot faster:confused:

I don't believe that the set screw will restrict flow. Try turning your dwell up (counter clockwise). It sounds like the bolt is not going forward far enough.

well, i talked wiht an SP tech, he told me to unsecrew that screw and reloctite it as he sadi it can restrict flow
