High Maitence

Are pirahnas high maitnence cuz i was thinkin about gettin one but my friend said there high repair and stuff so he convinced me not to get a bl vf g3 but are they really high maitnece?

You have to oil it after each outing. And you should clean it too. I clean and oil mine after each use and thats about it. Its not at all hard to clean or oil. It doesnt take much time either. You pop out the pin, pull out internals (they come out in one piece), oil the o-rings, put it back together, clean the barrel, and then you are done. Every other cleaning and oiling I run the squeegie through the body. Thats about all you have to do. If you have a ram air chamber, which doesnt come on a bl vf g3, you have to take it off and oil it. You dont really have to clean it everytime you can just oil it but I just like everything to be clean. You can also oil it by taking your barrel off and putting a few drops of oil in the asa and then attach your air and shoot about 30 times.

No, Piranhas are not high maintanence. Just oil the guy before, or after every day of play, or both. :) Replace any o-rings that bust, or are no longer in good shape, and replace the cup seal when it no longer seals the air in before the valve. It's all pretty simple... :D
