impulse or shocker

out of the 2 guns whats the advantages and disadvantages and what woudl be the better gun to own ??

I've heard that Shocker are great for accuracy, and there range is perfect for playing back postions! However rumors have it, they're gas hogs! Impulses are fast and light, which makes them great for front players! Again rumors have it, they aren't as accurate as Shockers! So I guess the only thing left for you to do, is determine which postion you enjoy playing more and go with that marker. Or get both! :D

The Impulse is smaller, lighter, quicker pointing, and can shoot much faster (as in rounds per min.)

The Shocker is - out of the box- the most accurate gun you can buy. Much of this is because of the excellent max-flo reg and the very fine AA barrel. If you put the same barrel on both a shocker and an Impulse (lets say a freak) there is no PRATICAIL difference in accuracy. Remember, we are talking about shooting hand held without sights-- not the guns locked and a rest under ideal conditions.

The Impulse is a much simpler gun. I have to say it is much less intinadating for the advrage person to work on.

The Shocker will handle paint in a more gentel matter (meaning you can use more brittle paint)

The shocker is a total gas hog. You must use a bigger or higher pressure tank to shoot the same number of balls.

yah, and there are 2 solinoids on t he shocker, meaning 2 times the chancee to rip a wire, ore break one, and, it fires closd bolt, like a cocker, wihch some say means more accruacy, and, th eshocker has only the trigger moving on the outside, but, i ike the impy:D
