the air efficiency totally is shyt on my dads impulse.
how does he fix it?
he uses a 68/4500 nitro duck... he has the dwell setting straight in the middle... the pressure is at 150.
any help?

Don't jump to conclusions too quickly! Having the dwell in the middle doesn't mean a thing unless that's where the chrono said the Imp's shooting at 280 f.p.s. Remember too dwell settings vary from Imp to Imp, and input pressure directly effects dwell settings.
How many shots is your Dad getting out of his tank? How full is the 68? (Is it only 3000) Tell us everything you can! It'll make it alittle easier to solve this problem.

alright
take your gun and set the pressure between 180 and 190 psi
this is where u will get the best effenecy
then take your gun to a crono and set the dwell so that you are shooting at 280 fps
then you will be able to get a ton of shots off your tank

He is getting about 600 shots per 3000 fill....
the feild we played didnt fill to 45k.
thanks... I will relay the info to him....
so it is best to set the pressure about 180... then adjust the dwell?
he just adjusted the dwell... at first it was all the way up... then he put it in the middle.... both efficiency and quantity of shots sucked at 140 psi input....
thanks.... any other advice to max out the amount of shots one can get?
(I mean it was horrible... he was getting less shots than I was with my matrix)

I'd say lube her up! Imps love a good lube job! And throw in one of Werms IPB Delrin Bolts while you're at it! Hey every little bit helps and it will reduce the amount of time and d-33 your Dads using to lube it!
