I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should get a Classic Automag or and Autococker? I will have HPA but I won't be able to upgrade it anytime soon because all my money will go into it. So I was wondering which will perform best with little to no upgrades? Also whats the difference between a powerfeed and standard feed neck on an Automag?

Get a 'cocker if you can't upgrade soon..

The difference between a standard feed and a powerfeed is that the standard feed runs INTO the body, while the powerfeed just lays on top of it at an angle.

Is there any advantage in having a powerfeed to a standard feed? Also are the upgrades that are normal cheaper on a cocker or a mag?

Standard feed will have less blow back.

Oh, and I'd get a mag if you won't upgrade soon.

OK so a standard feed will reduce blow back and they're fairly good unupgraded for while right?

Yes, but a vertical feed cocker would be even better. Most cocker upgrades are relatively cheap though, so I'd go with the cocker.

I'm prolly gonna be buying off of ebay so will that affect which I should get due to durability?

Um...actually, a powerfeed results in less blowback since it has a vent for the gas. Which is why all Spyders used them until they switched to vertical feed, which was a stupid mistake for blowback guns, since the blowback goes straight up the feed neck with no vent, it actually slows the feed rate on a blowback. On an Angel, it's of course, preferable.
Powerfeeds feed faster as the result of the vent.

Mags are simple, cockers you can tinker with and have about 6 million parts. Both are reliable guns, but if you get a mag, get a powerfeed body.

Err yeah, Ebonclaw is right. I meant to say power feed but I just woke up. Power feed has a hole on the top that the gasses exhaust out, while standard feed has no hole so it knocks the balls up into the hopper resulting in a slower feed rate.

*Edit: And you can put vents on a vertical feed and reduce most blowback problems. Drill two holes on the sides of the feed neck.

Venting a center/powerfeed won't do much either since things have a tendency to go in the direction of travel. Gas is directed up so it will, for the most part, continue to travel up.

Ok so it's down to a classic powerfeed automag or a 2k3 or whatever year vert cocker. I have one question I'll prolly be using a 47/3000 due to small size and money.so are automags efficient? Which would be more efficient on HPA?

I would get a cocker if you like to tinker, or a mag if you don't.
And i think both are about the same on effenticy.

K ithink i'm gonna go with a mag due to durability and simplicity. How much should a used powerfeed mag run for? Also what is that website with all those people selling mags for cheap. I can't find it n e where.

i never get blowback on my xtra... i put like 4 balls in the feedneck and fired and none of them jumped excessivly high.

:EDIT: err, its fixed now..... kinda sounded wierd when ya read it the first time eh?
