Oiling up your barrel?

My brother and I got talking about this the other day after we got back from paintballing.

Would oiling the inside of the barrel help with distance or accuracy at all? I was thinking that maybe if it was oiled then the ball would not get a proper spin on it, and possibly get less distance.

Any comments, suggestions?

IMO i think that puttin oil in a barrel would be a bad idea, it creates an uneven thin layer inside and will most likely cause more drag. just keep your barrel spiky clean and u'll be fine.

There are few good threads on this already. Do a search on lubing or waxing your barrel.

Not a good idea to do.
