I would like to know which one you guys prefer. A stock Cocker-2000 or 2001 or a classic mag w/ power feed. If you have any reasons on why you like each one, please tell me. Thanx.

Well, I like them both for different reasons. Here's a lil pro/cons chart about each gun.

Mags:

Pros- Insane ROF's. Easy to remove barrel, and small. Easy to tuck away, cheap, can run on co2, and you can get the retro valve (which only uses nitro). If you ask me they look better than cockers, cuz they don't have all this crap hanging out the front, but thats just my opinion. Mags are easier to take apart. All you do is take out one screw, and then pull out the bolt/valve assembly. They're also pretty light.

Cons- Not as accurate as a cocker, barrels are more expensive, and after you get a new valve/bolt/barrel, you're out of upgrades, unless you want to go electro. After that, its mostly cosmetic.

Cockers:

Pros- ACCURATE! SOOOO ACCURATE! great range. I had guys with cockers reaching out to me, and I could barely hit them with my flatline. They were shooting a bit hot though. Cockers have like 40000000 upgrades too. Bolts, valves, 3ways, regulators, rams, actuating rods, trigger plates, back blocks, frames, grips, trigger shoes, you name it, shocktech and kapp make it. They feel a lot better to shoot also, and if you have a 2finger cocker, you can actually have a safety.

Cons- CRANKY! My friend got a whole new front block, and he had to adjust his hoses just perfectly for everything to work, and he still cant get it right. It's hard to take apart and adjust the velocity also.

that's just my 2 cents. actually, thats like $50 right there.

A cocker has millions of upgrades you can do, but you have to learn about it to keep it running.

A mag is simple to keep running, but not as many "cool" things to bolt/screw/clamp on.

Accuracy does have it advantages, but so does having a gun that will work all the time.

I like playing, not fixing or tinkering. Get a Mag. (Then get a Shocker later for accuracy!)
