Which Gun For Tourny!?!?

OK....i'm serious about getting into Tourney's, but i need a new gun. One that i can upgrade but can go straight into a tourney being out of the box. I have about $1000 dollars for a new air system and a gun. I dont know which one to pick, and i wanna know which one is prefered for tourney use.

SmartParts: IMPULSE
SmartParts: SHOCKER
ANY AUTOCOCKER

Autococker or Tricked Shocker.
My friend just got his shocker in the other day, he plays on a amature team, and i'm a novice player going to amature. He spent $1,700 on his shocker (this is all together, the gun and the upgrades). I forgot what place online he got it from but it is awesome!!! He said if I were to ever get a shocker replace the trigger, b/c the stock one sux, and the maxflow on it.

Bushy's are about 500 online, and they need nitro. so that leaves you with some room to upgrade. Bushy's are ok stock, but with a new barrel some dye stickies and a drop forward, you have a great tourney gun. Indian Creek Designs recommends an adjustable nitro system, but its not manditory.:D

I would either get a Bushy or else and Intimidator. The timmy is $650-675 online I think. With the rest of the money get a tank, barrel, and anything else you want. Or if you prefer accuracy over volume then get a Black Magic cocker. Those are very nice.

I thought about getting the Black Magic, because i hear good things about it and its PRE-upgraded.

Never heard anything about the Bush Master

Intimidator is alright...but a little pricey and grip is wierd

well for a grand you probably find a deal on an angel if you want. most tournie players use angels or cockers. what kind of gun do you want? if i were you i would try to find an angel or nice cocker, look around on this forum - http://forums.paintballcity.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=64 im sure you could find a sweet package for what you have

I don't know if my replie is too late, but i'm pretty sure its a shocker 4x4. Not sure. I'm gonna see him sunday. I always lose his number. We were talking and i was talking how jealous i was and he said just get a shocker 4x4 and upgrade it. If you get a shocker definently get it as a package with a max flow 68 ci 4500 psi for $200 instead of seperatly for $450.

anyways, yes, the minimag is a VERY good choice, get a minimag,12 in boomstick or CP, bOO yHAA (sp?)grip frame, and a warp

Get a cocker. Then if it brakes which it wont you can get it fixed because of all the techs.

definitely get either an impy with the EYE, or a used shocker withthe eye.......
