I have been hearing a lot of debate over differences in paintball guns on the review section of the site. What do you think are things that actually matter?

1. Will a high-end gun, such as an Autococker, shoot a farther distance than a lower-end marker if they are running at the same velocity?

2. Does a upgraded bolt increase accuracy?

3. Is a closed bolt marker more accurate than an open bolt?

No to all of them. Only way you can shoot farther is with a flatline or automag Z body. Everything else will give you the same distance at same speeds

Nope.

Well, an upgraded bolt can increase your velocity. So, it can seem like it improves range and accuracy. But when you chrony it down to the previous velocity, it wont have a benefit.

And venturi bolts wont help range or accuracy, either. Its all hype.

3. Is a closed bolt marker more accurate than an open bolt?

No. The only difference is the position that the bolt is in when the valve is activated. If this was true, there would be a lot more closed bolt semis.
