Any body here know how to make a good paintball mortar, or even a bazooka/launcher? I think it would b awesome to have that kind of equipment for scenario games and I am trying to figure out what the best way to make one is, and what works well and what doesn't. I know they have mortars on ebay, but they are pretty expensive for what seems to be a relatively simple piece of equipment.

Who are you? And since when can newbs flame newbs?
There are both mortars and rocket launchers, you can make anything with PVC Pipes, the right valves, and a remote. There are also ones make for scenario play outside of military drills, so if you wanna spend the 400$ I'm sure you could get a mortar.

I don't know how well it would work, but you could build a device like a potato launcher but launch paintballs instead. You'd just have to find a way to "wedge" the paintballs in there like you do with a potato.

Mortars are slowly being outlawed because of the high trajectory: they can come down and knock a mask off.

Ive seen a couple made. They are basicly a patato launcher but instead of igniting a flamable fluid or gas inside of the tube, they connect a 20oz tank to the end with an on/off valve. Crank it on and somehow loads of it blasts through the pipe. I think the guy I saw with one said 20oz lasted 3 shots. What they do though is make that, then put a piece of paper towel in and stuff it down, put in 50-100 balls, then another paper towel (like packing a musket). Point, turn the switch, boom! The guy was also playing Jackpot with a nerf football stuffed in it.

Just don't forget, a projectile will fall at almost the same speed it was initially launched with, so the 300fps rule still applies. Unfortunately this means your mortar won't have a very impressive range.
As for actually accomplishing it, you need what's termed a "sabot" round, or a bunch of paintballs inside a split cardboard tube. When it fires, the cardboard falls away from the projectile as it leaves the barrel and the projectile continues onwards. This also works if you use a tube loaded with paintballs for a sort-of mortar shotgun effect.
