Haha, this kid in my class was bragging about his little sponsored team. They were sponsored by some kids dad to pay for their tournament, not really a sponsership. All week he's running his mouth about how he's gonna beat the crap outta everyone there.
So my team goes (we didn't enter it though) and proceed to watch his team get 7/9. He claimed he had an '04 Viking and he showed up with a spyder xtra on co2. It was great loss!

last sat, i went with my neighbor for his b-day(free entrance, paint and air, how could i say no??)
there were 10 of them, and they were all first-timers, except his god-father who had paintballed back when nelspots were all the rage...
we were gonna do a 6vs5, then these 4 guys from a well-known local novice team wanted to challenge all 11 of us...
i said no, saying that since they were first-timers, htey wanted to stay together and play each other until they got better used to it...then one guy in my groups says, "11vs4? ok, lets go"
before i can say anything, 11 of us are in one dead box, and the 4 of them are in the ohter...
we got ownzored...i did the only offensive thing my entire "team" did, and that was to try to break to the 50...i got shot about 6-8 times before i was halfway there, and i had too much adrenaline/momentum to stop, so when i slid into the snake, i had a few more...
---------------------------------------------
another time, 4 guys from another well-known novice team wanted to challenge a group of us taht were talking...4 vs 20...
this was crazy in our favor, so we said yes.
we ended up winning, but i consider it a loss...we had about 4-5 ppl left when we won.
i got shot out about a min in. i had run to a rolly polly near the 50 off the break, and was looking around trying to see where the other team was...
the guy who was playing back yelled that one just ran into a bunker right in front of me, so i peaked out, and saw his shadow.
it looked like he was gonna come out the left side, so i hover and wait. as soon as he pops out, i fire one shot, and hit him in the mask, and come back in as fast as i can. only then did i notice i had 4+ breaks on mine...
that game was the most unrewarding victory of my life...

everytime i get shot while playing outlaw ball with these kids that are semi noobs..they get all exstatic when they get a lucky shot on one of us(me and my friend) because to them were like paintball gods(quite funny no?) everytime i hit the snake i somehow get shot, its amazing. then of course after the game they go "oh yea, i got ROY i got him so good." to their posse.

This stupid outlaw field encourages campers. There is no room for a frontman. The front bunkers are definitely not key bunkers. The key bunkers are in the back. What is so funny about this field is that the guys with experience, and high end guns get eliminated first. Why? They get tired of the games going on for an hour on such a small field. They get impatient. Try to move to a bunker with a billion holes in it, but at least they took over some land right? Wrong, instant elimination by the camper newbies in the back. The DEFINITELY are newbies but the bunkers in the back provide so much cover they can just sit all day in thier comfortable spot, where they don't have to worry about people bunkering or flanking them. The bunkers in the back are solid, whereas the front bunkers provide no cover at all. The front guys usually on the break make it to the 50 and blow each other away. After that, it's just a freaking camp fest. One of the games I was able to stay alive for 30 minutes was really sad. I took out the other frontman, but after that I was stuck. I couldn't get a good shot on the guy in front of me, because everytime I stuck my head out his invisible camoflauge buddies would shoot at me at odd angles from never never land. When the other team managed to push the right side of the field (you couldn't see them very well because the heap of tires was in the way, also while they were trying to take our hill, all I could do was scare them because my paint couldn't reach them.), I ran back to protect the hill. After we filled in the positions that were eliminated, I went back to the 50. Unfortunately when I superman dived, my hopper lid snapped in half and all my paint spilled all over the ground. The two guys behind me both had no paint left. I wasted my last paint on the other team's brave souls that made it to the 50. I eliminated thier last high end gun. I had a pod left but I couldn't use it so I threw it to one of the guys that was out of paint. The pod fell short. He retreated and we were there for another 20 minutes dry firing at the other team of newbies that was slowly moving up. I thought it was funny we held them back for 20 minutes without any paint. I got tired of it and ran for the pod I dropped and ran back and tossed it to one of the guys that was out of paint. I was eliminated of course. It's not like the newbies were going to bunker us anytime soon anyways. The game went on and all that was left was the guys with co2 spyders, tippmans, and armotechs. None of them with any real skill. The guy with the phantom eliminated the rest of them. I guess he was the only one that actually conserved his paint. One of the guys he eliminated was actually throwing paintballs at his teamate. That's how bad this field is. You start out with 700 rounds of paint, and you use all of it as well as your air. There is nothing you can possibly do. I guess I got to hold back and take measured shots, but my 8 inch barrel was designed for fast attacks, not sniper festivals. Any attempts that I made to take down the other team in a shorter amount of time resulted in me being lit up. I got shot off the break a couple of times as well. One was when one of the new guys got in my running lane.

I went with 2 friends of mine. It was basically an Elimination game (no time).
Terrain:
A creek to the left (of my starting area) with a pipe in
Some trees and brush in the center along with several stacks of wood and 2 huge pipes
We were playing open play. Me and my friends along with 2 other people were supposed to flank them via the creek while the rest bunkered down and take out as many people they could.
Ok, off the break we get a good start. We get down to the pipe. We start to pass up the pipe and advance, then 8 of their guys pop out and nail my friend. We withdraw back to the pipe and try lay low and hope they pass us without seeing us (then we ambush from behind while the rest of our team would attack from 12:00). That didn't happen though. They somehow saw threw out plan and started to nail the pipe. Since the pipe was rather long, the 2 other guys tried to sneak through the pipe and flank them, but were quickly eliminated after they got out. So its just me and my friend left at the pipe. We try call for help. We could see like 5 people not but 20 feet or so away. They wouldn't come though. They saw what we were up against and decided they didn't want to "risk" running to our position. Well, I'm a lefty so I could attack 5 of the 8 people. And my friend was trying to nail the 3 people which attempted to bunker us. After several exchanges, I'm running on just my hopper and my friend is pinned down at the other end. But it wasn't all dark, we had a "chance." Apparently, one of the 3 people who tried to flank us was barrel cleaning or something because they all stood up and... thats it, they just stood up. My friends nailed them and they were out. Then from nowhere, a guy manages to nail my friend, he calls out and proceeds off. So its me vrs 5-6 people with only cowards for teamates. I manage to hold them off and prayed for help. But then I feel something on the back of my head... Guy says something like "Surrender or be shot." I surrendered. After that, I see all the 5+ people flank the remaining people of my team. I thought they got what they deserved. I shouldv'e shot them myself.

Ok, this probably happens alot. It was last weekend. After taking 1 step, I was shot off the break. What else could I do? I was out. My team got annihilated as I watched from the sidelines. It's basicly because I don't have back players with particularly high rof that I get out like that. They don't cover me. They just let me fall off a cliff. They will learn eventually. Unfortunately they make excuses that I am a too tall to be a frontplayer. What does that matter? The shot hit me around the waist area anyways. I am a stickman. The other team knows what they are doing. They have 3 backplayers sweetspotting on the break. We have 1 backplayer shooting and the other two running to thier bunkers. What the heck? They should at least run and shoot. The team that wanted me as thier frontplayer, just came out of the woods, so they are slowly learning. I keep telling them to get magazines and watch the videos on the internet.

I normally play speed ball all day but sometimes I play with rec ballers.
One day I played rec ball with this one group. I normaly played advanced but I didn't say anything nor gave them instructions like I normally do. Next thing you know, every single person on my team went left and I went right all by myself. Guess what happend next?:|
