I was wondering if i should put:
Lp kit
powerfeed
a good reg.
double trigger
and a freak barrel system
Or go with a gun like a impulse
This is for speedball and a little woods games
I know how to fix all the parts to a 98
but i know a little about elctos
i could always learn

Here is my story. I have played paintball for a long time. Recently I have played with RT Mags, 2001 Cocker, and my lastest marker was a 2001 Black Magic. I have sold all of them and have purchased an old trusty custom 98. Years of experience has brought me to realize that your skills are more important than your marker. A good paint to barrel match is the most important part of paintball, not your marker. I loved my Black Magic, but I can easily say that I get as many kills now as I did before. A custom needs an expansion chamber, new barrel, RT trigger (or double trigger) and a revy. Once you have the marker fine tuned to your liking you will be able to play with all of the big boys. If you want an electro go for it. But don't feel bad when a kid with a 98 or a spyder kills you. After that you will be wondering if spending all of that money was worth it.

Yea...I'd stick to a nice totally upgraded M98 Custom. It would sure be sweet and at least your not throwing paint and money away. Parts are more expensive for a electro too. But still theres nothing wrong with electros...i would rather a totally upgraded M98 Custom:love:

Why not throw in all the upgrades along with an electronic kit for the model 98 custom? I myself will never turn my back on my model 98 custom. If youre into speedball you could look into one of those expansion chambers where the co2 tank screws right into it at an angle. It would shorten your gun, some speedball players are into that.

Why not go for a cocker? All those upgrades will somewhere be around 300-400 and a cocker is 350 at xpaintball. Its one of the best stock guns and you wont need to many upgrades off the bat. But if you like 2 you chose (custom, impulse) I would say the custom... I just dont like electros... I never seem to need to fire that fast.

I used to have a stock 2001 cocker and out of the box performance is not all that great.

Just put the electro kit in your M98C. I just installed one for a friend today. He was amazed. The trigger pull is just as light as my Intimidator and it still has that super durable body.
The kit's pretty easy to install and most of the gun is still the same, so you don't have to learn a new marker from scratch.
Much cheaper than buying a whole new gun too.
