I HAVE $1000, and want a good tourny gun

OK....i'm serious about getting into Tourney's, but i need a new gun. One that i can upgrade but can go straight into a tourney being out of the box. I have about $1000 dollars for a new air system and a gun. I dont know which one to pick, and i wanna know which one is prefered for tourney use.

well for tourneys i would suggest that you get either a timmy or a nice cocker such as an sto, or even just upgrade a stock 2k1 vert feed.

depends if you want electro or cocker.

E-Mag Extremes will be out in a moth or two, they are allready available from AGD Europe. If you want tourny ready in a small package with cocker barrels and modular feed setup(vert or warp) Thats the way to go. When I get done with boot, thats going to be the first thing I buy.:D

Yeah, I live the fact that you can just switch out the feed versions. I'm goin to get mine in black, or have it custom anodized.

I would personally get the Matrix for that price with a few of the "efficiency enhacing" upgrades. Or for that price you could get a TKO Impulse. But I would go with the Matrix.

So the Matrix is $670 and a PMI 68ci 3000psi ($120). Then add in the the front reg and the "Delrin Sleeve to get 200 more shots per tank". At www.actionvillage.com that would come out to $920. Then you still have enough to get like a 12v hopper or Ricochet AK (or whatever the cheaper version is called).

if u want a good tourny gun then get a impulse with the vision eye i guarantantee u no breaks ever.........or u can just but a matrix...........but whatever gun u get buy a 4500 psi tank it will save u $$$$
