Whats up, my buddy just got a piranha upgrade kit for his g2 bottom line, when he put everything in it started to leak like a mother. It sounds like the air is coming from around where the bolt is when its uncocked, if anybody has any ideas of the problem let me know. Thanx:confused:

Trust me I had the exact same problem. Basically ur pin on ur tank is to long for the pin hole in the gun so air leaks out. Just pop one 0ring in to the hole in the gun and ur set.

If the sound is coming from around the bolt, can you hear anything in the barrel, too?

Did he change the valve during the upgrade? Because it sounds like maybe your valve is leaking.

If the pin valve for the tank is leaking the sound would come out from your tank adaptor.

Hope this helps.

just tell him to take out the bolt & striker and inspect all the o-rings.

You said the gun was uncocked when it was leaking. If that was what you meant then you are supposed to cock the gun before screwing your tank in. And there is no reason for your gun to be aired up and not cocked. And the upgrade kit comes with a venturi bolt, ram air lp chamber, velocity adjuster, and beavertail siterail.
