Also what are some pros and cons for both? Is the weight on the SS worth the performance over the aluminum, if there is any.

On a spyder i would say aluminum is better, the main difference in the back pieces is noticed in the really light electros, when you fire fast the extra weight in the front can keep you targeted better. But for a spyder i don't think you would notice anything.

I use PMI and sometimes Big Ball paint (a lot of cheap paint also), what bore size do you think i should get?

get different bore sized barrel ends if you use a variety of paint.
But i would recommend you go to Xpaintball.com or bbtpaintball.com and get RPS Premium paint, its about $45 for 2000 and its high quality paint(medium bore)
