I just bought a Radarchron to measure velocity. It did not come with any instructions, so I thought I would present this in the forum.

When getting a chrono reading, are there any limitations on where you should shoot? For example, do I have to shoot at a piece of plywood setup 20' away or can I just shoot at anything to get a reading?

Not sure if I worded it correctly, but hopefully you guys understand.

It doesn't matter where you shoot it, as long as the ball goes over the chronograph.

also, make sure you shoot at least three shots for a more accurate reading. Never trust just one shot, because it could be a mis-read.

and shoot straight, as in the barrel should be level with the chrono.
