I just bought the Piranha Pro G3 EXT and played with it for the first time the other day. My problem is that I could not get the gun to chrono any higher than 238 fps. I am new to the sport so I am still kind of learning. I haven't replaced the barrel yet so could it be because I am still using the plastic stock barrel?

First; was your CO2/Nitro tank completely filled
2) check all your O-rings, make sure none are worn
3) that gun has a regulator, was it closed or open?
4) Was your velocity adjuster turned down or up?

Check that stuff first. The barrel has nothing to do with your velocity.

Also your gun should of came with another Striker spring which is a bit more stiffer then your stock one.

Remove your old spring by removing your quick strip pin and your bolt and striker should come out with just a pull. And just remove your old spring and replace it with your new that it came with.

when I first got my piranha, I could get it to chrono below 300 fps, so the field operator cut a bit off the spring ... after that, it wouldn't chrono above 250.

So, whatever you do, don't let anyone cut your spring.
