Vertical feed makes balls feed faster, and gives a lower profile than powerfeed does..i like vertical feed better.

vert feed hands down. Feeds balls 1.6 times faster than powerfeed. Also balences your gun better by putting your hopper in the middle.

The only drawback with the vertical feed is that you can't put a sight on (not that you need one, and most people just eye down the barrel). But there is one sight you can put on? Can't remember name, I think the dot goes through the feed.

true. I was looking at the new Spyder Xtra. It looks great but my friend told me that vert feeds are kinda hard to aim with and since he is not going in to the sport that much he decided to offer his tricked out 98 autococker. But since I am new to the sport and this is my first gun I am not sure if I can do the maintanence. I would really like to know when the Spyder Xtra will be released. And how much it will be.....but until then I am clueless........

Adco red dot I think is the one that works with vert feed. Dunno how it would, but apparetly it does

i love vert feed. People with power feed keep breaking balls for the reason that balls wont drop down fast enough and the bolt just crushes the balls and it is a hell of a time to clean up. I laugh at them because they keep having to drop out of the game and spend half an hour getting the paint out of theirbolt and feed.(f-4 illustrator) I have never had a probem with my vert feed and have yet to break a ball after putting a couple of cases of paint through it. My vert feed is a bit off to the side so I can still aim using the top of my gun.

one that will work with vert feed is the Armson sight..You just center your eye over the sight, open both eyes, and your eyes put the target and the dot together, creating an illusion of a dot on the player..don't quote me on that though..
