NYC paintball practice

well we play usually in Long island or in staten island.. or we go out of state to NJ or PA.. do you have a group of guys that you play with ?

That's Top Gun Paintball, I'm there most Saturdays.

The nearest field to NYC is probably Staten Island Paintball. There are a lot of fields in Jersey but none of them are as close.

i've only been there a couple of times, each time with groups so im not sure how the walk on competition is. but the 4 fields are pretty basic. 3 woods and one concept.

the speedball is the best I play wed might speedball there its fun its at night with lights set up

I have been there and also live in NYC and usually play upstate in poughkeepsie at the overlook field imo a really great field now that the local paintball store took it over but regardless its a 100 times better than si paintball I really don't like that place one bit I had a lot of complaints the last time I was there like the refs were terrible blatant overshooting was seemingly ok and they were totally unorganized just overall a bad experience a few of my friends who never played before were temporarily turned off to paintball due to the experience and the lights are a great addition for sure but everything else sucked

i live in staten island, so SIPaintball would be so convenient to go to, but they charge way too much for paint, and like you said its just not an overall good experience.. we usually go to Top Gun in NJ. we went this saturday, and we had a great time there. we played in an open class, just a few of us, and the refs were awesome.. i recommend that place i have a good time everytime i go there.

I am starting to not like staten island ;( its getting to over crouded and they are tearing down all the woods and putting up houses even next to my house in a few years there is a kinda historical house there

I'm 24 and live in Brooklyn NY.
I have been to Si paintball, They charge so much and what a dump. I walked in and :sulk: right out.
me and a goup of friends go up to Skirmish U.S.A , yeah it's far but we all chip in and rent a bus for the day. we are going up there Dec 15 th it's half off everything that weekend.
i'm looking for a place that's closer, and as good as Skirmish, if you know of any drop me a line.
and if anyone wants to hook up with my group one day and play (on a real field) it's all good :D
we go up there with about 30-40 ppl -guys, girls, wemen, dogs, cats , birds , fish , mice i don't care -whom ever wants to play is more then welcome. the next trip is maybe in march (that is after DEC 15th , i can't wait :blah:

DAMN dec 15 th lol I was supposed to go to a computer show to buy some kewl stuff but them my mom told me were going with my family and outher people to rockafella center and outher places in manhatten cuz my and lives up state and never seen that stuff lol. (I SPELL BAD :( )

I live on LI and goto High Velocity Indoor and Coram Outdoor.

Supposedly, Cousin's/Advantage Paintball is opening up a huge indoor facility in Hauppauge during the Holiday week...should be good.

If anyone goes to high Velocity on the weekends, drop me a line...I am looking for people to play with...

I don't have info for the new "big indoor" field yet, but I will get it soon...I do know that they will have 4 indoor fields.

HIgh Velocity only has 1 smallish indoor sup field, but it still is a lot of fun. Faced paced action. It is probably a 50 min to1 hr. drive from where you live.

Weekends are a little $$$ though at $100 for field paint/case and $10 entry/$10 all day air.

I would rather play and worry about the $$$ some other time...

If you go there on a weekend, let me know...

It's 32 Degrees and fits .689 fine. I've shot it in outdoor/indoor with good results.

The paint is fresh, my brother is a dealer...This is not High Velocity FIeld Paint for Saturday/Sunday Play, but it's great for "Bring your own Paint" Nights.
