I thought this question was too dumb to clutter up the AGD forum, so here goes: I've been looking for a while and I can't see where you would hook up the batteries in an intelliframe. Does this thing not run on batteries???

The intelliframe doesn't need batteries to work, it's just a mechanical frame for your automag. What it can do is accept a microswitch that connects to your viewloader and make it agitate with each shot fired. Check out www.airgun.com (http://www.airgun.com) and click on technical manuals to find out how.

oh cool. How is the trigger pull on it? Is it walkable?

It's not typically walkable. It really depends on your setup and how much you want to upgrade your automag. If you have a standard valve then it won't be walkable, but if you have an x-valve and a ULE trigger mod then it may be.

If you haven't got one yet then I would just get the ULE automag which comes with an intelliframe, an x-valve, and the ULE trigger mod which makes the pull almost as light as an electro. If you really want an electro trigger pull on an automag then you should probably just buy a used e-mag.

This (http://store.airgun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.catalog&categoryID=79) is the RT ULE custom. It's currently out of stock, but if you wait a few weeks they should get more (since it's now their flagship marker). The base price is 399 but to make it really good you need to pay the extra 40 bucks to get the ULE body and ULE trigger mod (autococker barrels and light pull).

The price is still great for what you get though, one of the lightest tourney-level markers you can buy. The base model also doesn't have the intelliframe on it, but doesn't need it because the stock frame is basically the same thing only made out of high impact plastic. Make sure you use compressed air on it though.

Wow 40 bucks for a ule body is nice. Is an RT mag basically the same thing as a 68 mag, but with the RT valve, sight rail, and the frame?

RT's, X-valves, and E-mag valves are all the same. The only thing is that the X-valve is made of aluminum. All of these need compressed air, you cannot use co2.

Don't x-valves come stock with lvl 10?
If I ever do get a mag, it will probably be a ULE, but with a .68 valve because getting an hpa fill around here is easier said than done. Thanks for your help guys.

yeah x-valves have lx, but you can just buy that for like 80 or so.

That's another thing I don't understand about mags. Why so expensive?

high quality and low production.
