View Full Version : upgrading my Inferno Heat

Ok, well I used to play all the time but have been out of it for almost 2 years now. My cousin lost or sold or did something with my Spyder so I'm down to using what used to be my practice gun, an Inferno Heat. I don't have the money or dedication to spend the money for a new gun, and this one isn't bad anyway, so I've decided to do a few upgrades to it to make it respectable. I want a new barrel, put a bottomline on, possibly a new hopper and I think a stock would be cool :P . Here's what I'm thinking:

barrel: (I snipe alot so being quiet and accurate are key but I also play woods and speedball and all that...)
32* Nyte Stikk
PMI Razzor

hopper:
Ricochet 2K AK
Viewloader eVLution II

air system:
I'm not sure on what makes a good bottomline kit for this gun. I'm thinking I'll need/want an expansion chamber too. Anyone care to reccomend some good expansion chamber + bottomline combos? I kind of like the ACI Sub-Zero 4 Stage expansion chamber but the PMI expansion chambers are good too, plus they'd match the PMI barrel.

stock:
Have no idea and don't know that I'll actually get one but the thought is cool. Like I said, I snipe alot so a stock combined, possibly, with a bi-pod would be nice at times. Anyone have any suggestions on compatible stocks and/or bi-pods? Oh, and one last thing. To go along with sniping; where could I get an elbow or something to move my hopper out of the way a bit so I can mount a sight (and can a sight be mounted on a Heat?). Would this affect the efficiency of the hoppers I listed? If it would then I won't get a sight.

Ok, thanks for any help anyone can give. Sorry if any of these are stupid ideas... it's been a long time since I was into this stuff and even when I was playing, I was by no means an expert. Thanks

P.S. You may be able to tell; I don't want to spend alot of money. Most of my cash goes towards my girlfriend or my car and I'm saving for school too so my budget at this point is about $200 for everything.
