what is this?

I found this at IIsports.com it's called a Universal Anti-Siphon Adaptor. Im not sure how this works? does it connect to your bottom line then, you connect your tank to that?

I'm not sure but if i had to make a guess it probably works by having small diameter hole drilled making a small passage way for co2 to come through just giving it more time to change into a gas and restricted a (flow) of liquid into the gun....
