I was wondering how the barrel companies made barrels (with what and how) and If I'd be able to do anything with my cheap stock barrel to make it better ( not the holes or anything just the inside)

they use a lathe with boring tool to cut out the center. most barrels are made with a computer controlled lathe to avoid human error. there's really nothing much you can do to improve your stock barrel's performance. boring it out again will make the diameter too wide.

You could always chop it down to have a nice little stuby barrel. :)

Actually, internally there's nothing really you can do to improve performance, other than keeping it clean. That's why people get after market barrels, not only for the added length but for the smoother bore on the inside.
