Turn the screw to the left to open the valve up more to speed it up and right to close it to slow it down. Before you do anything Turn the valve clockwise and close it all the way. Don't over tighten. Shoot a few round and the trigger should get really hard to pull back. If this happens then open the valve and find a spot to where the RT works really good. It just takes practices. Oh yeah and if the trigger doesn't get too hard to pull back after you have closed the valve then you got a leak somewhere.

Oh yeah use the search button next time. This has been discussed before. Or the manual works good too.

I have a problem with my response trigger on a 98c. Ive gassed up the marker, closed the r/t adjuster all the way, and the trigger pull does not get harder. Ive read the manual & tuning instructions on model98 and as you posted that is a sign there is a leak somewhere. I've re-tightened both ends of the flow-control assembly, without impacting the trigger pull (still feels normal, even when the r/t adjuster is full shut). Where should I start to investigate the leak?
