There is no dispute, really. It's a piece of from Tippmann that's over-priced and a gimmick. If you install it correctly, virtually impossible 99% of the time, it will perform like a CP 1 Piece, or not as nice. Good barrel they have there.
I don't see the sex appeal in wanting to have a marker that looks like a real weapon and have a scope and huge "sniper" barrel on it. Just another bunker victim to a real paintball marker, I guess...

Actually anyone with the i.q. of a small goat can install it corrctly if they take the frikin time to read the instructions. And when instaled corectly, it shoots about 100 feet further than the cp i piece, ive used my friends and theyre both about the same accuracy at the closer ranges that the cp can reach. And ive actually tried the flatline, not just seen people use a barrel which you know can depend on the player and if they know how to use it.

well, the last time that I had a flatline it seemed that anyone, even my six year old cousin could put it in right. And after that you would get the same accuracy as any decent barrel at close range. The barrel, if installed correctly can give you unmatched distance and better accuracy at long ditance than any other standard barrel. User error has a lot to do with all of the complaints about the flatline. And next time use something before you go about flammin things.;)
I'm with Mongoose:rolleyes:

you just have to take the time to get it right the first time, then its easy to get it right

ya dude i asked out to make it perform better than it already is. seriously just cuz it doesn't screw in like a normal barrel does it mean its hard to assemble. and when i ask a question i don't need you to come tell me what i should have done and crap just answer the question and if you can't (which you obviously can't becasue your not smart enough to put a barrel on a gun) than just go away and keep thinking you know what your talking about
whew
