Ok i am looking into purchasing the base impulse from paintballgear.com and throwing in the smart parts anti siphon co2 tank to save a few bucks instead of buying a nitro tank. I heard they run superbly on co2, but does the co2 damage the gun in any way??Would it be worth it to buy a nitro tank?? And the max flo reg used screw in tanks right? So there is nothing else you need to do to get it running but the gun the loadeer and the tank right????

Hi there,
Firstly, you need to forget about paintballgear.com and think about e-paintballoutlet.com
Why? You might be paying $20 or so extra with e-paintball, but it's more than worth it.
Craig, the store owner, also known as FOM, sets up every single 'gun he sells. That means he gases it up, tests it, and by default will set the gun to 180psi and 280fps. This ensures against a faulty 'gun on arrival.
Also, Craig will also set up the antisiphon tank to your specific 'gun.
Not sure if you know this or not, but antisiphons won't do a thing, except maybe making your 'gun malfunction, if not properly aligned.
Again, Craig aligns it and sets it up properly to your 'gun before shipping.
He also uses Priority Mail shipping which takes 2-3 days, whereas UPS can take a whole week, and they do not ship Saturday's.
Fom is always at his store, so you can call him up any time, during business hours, and will give you tech support. Customer service is incredible.
If those aren't enough reasons to buy from Fom, may God help you. :D

Oops, forgot to answer some of your questions.
The Impulse works great on CO2, it was designed to do just that.
As long as you have the antisiphon properly aligned. You do not want liquid to enter this 'gun...or ANY 'gun for that matter.
If money is an issue, just stick to the antisiphon CO2. A 20oz should give you 1000-1300 shots. That is plenty.
I just sent my payment for my Impulse today, so I should have it some time next week. I invested in a vertical reg Impulse, because I cannot use a 'gun without a foregrip. Because of money, I chose to go with the 20oz CO2, but MAY upgrade to nitro in the future.
I'm getting back into the sport, so I've been spending a good amount of money, so the other upgrades will have to wait.
You'll definitely want at least a 12v Revolution with the Impulse, and yeah, that's all you need.
Not sure about your preference, but I wouldn't be able to play without a drop forward either, so I grabbed the new CP Lightning Drop. :)
Pretty much it, the Impulse will take care of you right out of the box.

Shipping? I'm not exactly sure...but mine was only around $15-$16. He ships USPS Priority Mail. I don't think Hawaii is that much more expensive...I highly doubt it will be $50, though.
Yes, he will install the antisiphon and *properly align* it to *your specific* gun.
Calling him is the fastest, but you can also e-mail him at fom@e-paintballoutlet.com

IMHO a nitro tank is a good idea for any gun if you can afford it.

Yes, nitro is the safest bet for any 'gun. But again, when the antisiphon tube is properly aligned, CO2 gas works great. More shots from it, too.
