I was wondering about how far of a drop down and how much foreword seems to balance the 04 bko well with a 68 fiber wrapped tank, I am asking this seemingly dumb question as I am going to make my own custom drop out of a piece of 1/4 inch aluminum by cutting out a pattern with a plasma torth and an electric eye. Then polishing it to mirrored perfection. There is also a small cnc mill at my school so I may do some milling to the drop also.

Not everyone likes their tank and gun balanced in the same way, it's all preference.

unimount or rail setup so that the tank sit high, but behind the frame.. most ballanced position for 68ci and smaller

posts like that are for n00bs.

Like stated before, the balance of your marker is your perferance. I like a bigger drop to keep my tank in tight to my gun, but that's just me.

Well I had hoped to have it done by now but as my new bko wont be here until tuesday I have seen no reason to make one. Since I am quite good at welding aluminum I was going to just make a couple of blanks out of 1/8th inch aluminum to see where I want it positioned as I can use as much of that as I want. I figured I'd just start out with a long one then keep cutting it down until I seemed to like it then make the final one with the center to center from the mount on the gun to the mount for the asa that I like. I think that I am going to make the final one look like 2 arcs tangent to eachother facing opposite directions, maybe I will try and draw an example. It may look weak but since it will be out of a 1/4 inch plate aluminum it should be plenty strong.

I hope that when my marker comes and my buddy with an imp gets to shoot it he feels sorry he bought an imp instead. He was bummed that it comes with an adjustable trigger and a lpr
