matched barrel?

On the order section on Palmer's page, I was just wondering what it meant to have a barrel that is "matched" to a specific gun type. Could anyone help clear this up for me?

They line the barrel up too shoot the best in that position then they mark the barrel. That's so it goes back in the same way all the time. If you want to save 20 bucks and do it yourself and take the time you can. But I am lazy and fig they do it all the time.
Not a waste of money in my eyes. I have tried the barrel diffrent spots but shoots best where they line it up. Don't buy a site for it cause I'll tell you how to make on for like 2 bucks and takes 5 mins to make.
