Hey I am looking for a marker and I can't decide. I like the looks of the F4 and Griffin I was just wonderin how the perform. I haven't seen on in person. Also I aftermarket parts are there for the F4 and Griffin, such as valves spring kits and such. What kind of paint isa good match with the stock barrel. If you all could help me out. Thanks a bunch

I use a F4 and love it. I have never shot a griffin but I don't see many good reviews on them. The thing with the F4 is that it is a low maintance gun and has no external moving parts.

the griffin has no keep up problems! i swear by it. you might need to get a new striker or whatever you call that little thingy on the bottom chamber for better firing.

Well I cant compare it to a 98 Custom's performance, but I'll bet the Griffin has some of the best cold-weather performance out there! When ACI says All-Weather Valve, they mean it. I had the Griffin up in the mountains, freezing temperatures with snow flurries and NO FREEZE UP! Even during rapid fire! Definately will outperform any Spyder in the cold. The new F4's alos have the same valve system, and are SUPER air efficient, something to always take into consideration. The one shortfall of these two is there trigger. You just cant rip with these two, like you can with a 98 or Piranha. It is okay though, especially when your competition is frozen!
