Ya know just recently I threw nitro to my Piranha and man I was amazed at the difference a tank of nitro did for my gun I was stunned to see the velocity up so dramatically I had been shooting C02 and from what I understand it puts out about 650psi and then my nitro tank is a preset at 800-850 what a difference it made.I went outside mind you it's below freezing where I am at and those balls rocketed.Out of all the upgrades I have done to my gun I have to say nitro has to have been one of the most beneficial I have ever seen

I am probably going to nitro eventually but where can you get it filled, and how much does it cost?

You can get tanks for between 100 and 500.... depending on what you want to pay, and what you are looking for. I hava a PMI Pure Energy Steel tank. I love it!! It is a bit heavy, but otherwise it is nice for the price...($120) You should be able to get it filled at the same places you fill CO2. Most PB stores and fields fill them, in my experience. It usually cost about $3-5 to get a tank filled depending on size of the tank.

many paintball store offer to fill them and it is cheaper than c02 in most cases... it costs me 5 bucks to get my 16oz tnak filled however if I get my 68ci filled it costs me 4 bucks... so the benefits are still outweighing c02

ouch that hurts big time.... well look up gas in the phone book such as roberts oxygen and see if they can fill your c02 tank and if they can ask them if they carry nitrogen and if they do maybe you could pick up a kit about 60 bucks and have them fill it if all else fails if you can't find anyplace that sells gas period ask a welder he should know and if that doesn't work go nitro get a scuba tank 130 dollars and go the distance to get it filled and then you can fill your own tank.....depends on how bad you want to play

Another thing, the guy at our store is on vacation so we had to have my dad fill our co2s (this was not a paintball store but a hardware store) how long do you think it takes to fill a 9 oz all the way you think? it took us forever and then it only lasted around 200-300 shots, i thought that was kinda weird

if you get a crossfire or pmi pure energy it hooks up the same as if you were running co2

Well I made upgrades to mine but none were necessary for my piranha BL I mean I got a reg and venturi bolt and sight rail and new barrel and all but no mods were necessary to go to nitro it simply screw in just like a c02 tank provided to get a pmi pure energy tank or a crossfire c02 tank both tanks are virtually the same with the exception that the pure energy come in black and chrome and the crossfire comes in black or green and brass ....
