Crossfire Barrels?

anyone heard anything about these barrels or tried one out? Saw them on www.actionvillage.com and they look pretty strange with only "guides" on them instead of a actual tube. Love to hear how they perform.

A friend of mine told me they are absolute CRAP which makes sense to me...
