I don't have the answer to your question, but why do you want a 8 inch barrel? You're going to be sacrificing a lot of accuracy for a little length.

Well i love short barrell and review on the lapco 8 inch sure talks pretty well about them. I use to own a 14 inch for my tippman and just love Lapco barrells. Sometimes them stubby Barrels can impress and for the fact i play up front and i like to move around in tight places and i dont need alot of long range.

I'm not talking about range. This isn't my opinion, it's a fact. A paintball needs 8 inches of a non ported barrel to accelerate. With an 8 inch barrel, you are going to have porting before the ball finishes accelerating. Porting is needed to take some pressure out from behind the ball so it can fly on a cushion. Since you're going to have porting before 8 inches, the ball isn't going to stop accelerating in the barrel, and it's going to fly funny. Just get a 10 inch, at least. 12 would be a lot better, but at least get a 10.

I have a 10 Inch Dye Stainless.... It shoots pretty well but if what you are saying is the truth (im not calling you wrong) then why did the people whom rated this barrel rate it that high?
