I was wondering since it seems to rain quite often at my field would that really screw up the gun??? I would probably bail if it started raining but will it really do alot to the gun???anyone??

thanks for the help:)

We had a turny last week end. it rained all day. at one point, durring play, it poured! we had a LOT of Impulses on the field, and not one had a problem.

We also had a down pour at the Chicago NPPL. none of the Impulses went down there. (we did fry one Angel- but WDP was there and replaced it for us)

The only problem for me is that im from Hawaii and there is like no such think as an airsmith anywhere near me so i wanna be extra careful. So it shouldnt really do much but i should try and stay out of the rain??

I'm sure rain is taken into consideration when making an electro 'gun. With that said, it was, in fact, taken into consideration, and the Impulse will be just fine in the rain. I usually don't play in pouring rain or even light rain anyway, so I won't have that problem, but many people play in the rain with the Impulse, and do not have any problems.

You should be fine. Make sure that all of the holes are covered so you don't get any water on the board and make sure to clean you gun out extremely well when you get home.

I played in the masters last weekend and they had a record of rainfall. It poured allmost all of Saturday. The only problem we had was with a shocker, because it would not turn on.

I just took my new impulse apart yesterday and I did notice a fewsmall places where watter could get in....since I work for a company that makes sinthetic rubber I was thinking of trying to make gasket type things that could fit around the inside of the gun to better seal off certian parts....I was also thinking it would be cool if somebody made a nicer on off switch and a replacement for that rubber strip that covers the dwell and those other little holes(the front half seems to want to flop around sometimes) ...if i ever got around to it I could just skulpt the new ones out of clay or renshape and cast a couple at work......just a thought.....l8
