Tippman and nitro

I was thinking of upgrading to nitro for my tippman 98c. I was thiniking of buyin a centerflag 240 preset screw in and my friend says that for a tippman you need a hpa kit is he just dumb or is he right?

you dont need the kit. You do however need a preset tank to 800psi. 240 is too low. Thats what I have. A 68/4500psi ACI bulldog 3 w/ a 800psi preset reg on it. Just screw it in and go. For just about any tank, consider buying a fill nipple cover and a tank cover.

Yaki: the 240 isn't the pressure the tank is set at. I am pretty sure it's a number to identify which tank it is.

Squishy: As long as it's 800psi preset, you'll be fine. No you don't need the LP (or hpa, as some call it) kit to use HPA on your gun.
