that happened to me before i got mine, all day long id search for the best price... etc, etc. I worked EVERY day i didnt have school, on holidays, teacher workdays, and the occasional sick day for my dad. Just save up all the money you can and try to convince your parents to loan you like the last 100 or so. LOL i 113 bucks in debt to my dad for my nitro tank still...

do you have any kind of video gaming consol(sp?)? Just go out and buy a game or download a game for your computer. If it's good enough you might be able to weaken the craving for the sucky gun. j/k. One problem though, you might think about the game alldoy long instead. NHL HITZ 2002 cool.

The craving for a cocker is all good. I remember when i first wanted a cocker thats all i could dream about. Now i can't wait for my parts for my cocker to come in the mail. It's just a piantball thing.

I'm kinda there too. I've designed my own marker and wont be able to build it until i can scrap together a couple hundred bucks for the aluminum and mill time and getting a patent. So I sit, and I wait...

twitch when you revolutionize the paintball world with your new improved run faster jump higher marker, will you hook a poor kid up and give me a proto?

We'll see :D

I cant say much until I send away for the patent, but it's going to be very impressive if it works. I've only told one person so far (krasher) about how it works and the second I finished telling him he offered financial contributions for the thing. It'll be nice, trust me :D

Then we do the poor mans patent. Self addressed envelope mailed to myself containing all the technical drawings :D

Piece of advice for the poor man's patent: Make sure it's done by recorded post and also keep it in a bank's deposit box or something so there can be no doubt that you've altered it or anything.

sounds cool twitcho.

Are you designing everything for your gun? or just the outside, and putting existing parts inside?

Well, as far as I can tell, from what I've read and the title, you're right, you do need help. But I won't be qualified to give that kind of help for another few years.

Nope, all the internals are mine. Which means it's a completely new design. And it also just so happens that nothing has ever been done like this in terms of operation inside a marker before :D

I cant say anything else yet until I'm sure the design won't get ripped off, but like I said, It's gonna be something completely new :)

I've got some plans of my own too, but ICD might murder me if i patent them.

Twitch, my Dad is an attorney specializing in patent litigation. If your idea is good enough (j/K) he may be able to help you. There is a paintball genius/inventor who is a local legend and he could be rolling in the dough if he had just gotten a good patent. Now someone is building his cradle and using the name he used and he is getting absolutely nothing.

I have plenty of money if you are looking for investors. Let me know I'm very interested.

Rich, first we make it WORK, then think about a patent :P
What a dreamer ;)

What? Make it work first? unheard of! Course, my design lacks that helpful little factor too. But Simon says he's got more goodies to tell.
